Brent, it was wonderful to find your website tonight and to read all about your latest endeavors. Well done with the book in particular, will check it out on Amazon too.
Just enjoying watching reruns of Corner Gas on TV recently. The show has aged very well. Still SO funny and original. Having lived in SK for many years, I think it’s even funnier. Has been great therapy as I am going through a rough patch at the present. All the laughter lighten the load, even if it’s only temporary.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful year, in all ways and hope to meet you in person some day too. It would be an honor.?

I live in the UK and recently discovered Corner Gas via my Amazon Fire stick. Absolutely hilarious! And just to add to the quality program is that there is no “canned laughter” as we call it in the UK. If a comedy is genuinely funny, as Corner Gas is, then we dont need to be told when we should be laughing do we. Unfortunately in the UK program makers still insist on adding canned laughter even when the program is genuinely funny. Shame.
I’m now looking out for Hiccups and anything else you appear in.
keep up the good work.

Hi Brent,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating Corner Gas. It’s been more than just a TV show to me — it has genuinely helped carry me through some very difficult medical challenges over the years. On days when I’ve felt drained, scared, or just overwhelmed, I could turn on Corner Gas and feel comforted by the familiar world of Dog River. The warmth, humor, and heart you built into the show has lifted my spirits more times than I can count.
Even now, I still put it on whenever I need a boost. It brings me peace, laughter, and a feeling of being understood in a way that’s hard to describe. Thank you for creating something that has meant so much to so many people — especially to me. Your work has made tough times easier, and I’m truly grateful.
Also I am glad you refrained from the canned laughter as it takes away from the true experience!
With appreciation, Beverly
